|scientific name Fokkeria producta |
F. producta is considerably smaller than most other shield bugs found in Alberta, and can be told from other species by its dark, rather conical head and its less angular, more oval pronotum.
No information available. This species is rare and not likely to be encountered.
This species has only been recorded in Alberta and Colorado (Froeschner 1988), though it is likely found elsewhere as well. There is only one specimen of F. producta in the Strickland Museum, taken in Medicine Hat in March 1929 (Strickland 1952).
