The larvae may feed on Sphagnum (Markku Savela, www.funet.fi/). range Known from Fennoscandia and in Canada from the Northwest Territories, Quebec, Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia (Markku Savela, www.funet.fi/). Reported from Quebec and Labrador (Handfield 1997).
